CoDeploy Version 2.1 introduces advanced features, including Connect Instance Management, AWS Account addition with Role-based Access, CloudFormation scripts for automated Role creation, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for users, and enhanced account management capabilities. Additionally, cross-region support for Lex and Lambda transfers, coupled with an uplifted Package Creation UI, ensures a more flexible and streamlined deployment experience.

  1. Connect Instance Management: Users gain the ability to remove and restore Connect Instances from CoDeploy, offering enhanced control over deployment environments.
  2. AWS Account with Role-based Access: Users can add AWS accounts to CoDeploy by entering the RoleARN, simplifying the account integration process.
  3. CloudFormation Script for Role Creation: Introducing CloudFormation scripts for CoDeploy, automating the creation of Roles with necessary permissions, ensuring a seamless setup.
  4. MFA for Users: Users can enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for their login, enhancing the security of CoDeploy accounts.
  5. Remove Account Functionality: Users now have the capability to remove redundant AWS accounts from CoDeploy, streamlining account management.
